CLÉMENTINE MÉLOIS
Clémentine Mélois is a French artist and writer. She has produced several works of experimental and humorous works that combine visual art and literature. Mélois is the author of Cent titres (2014), Sinon j’oublie (2017) –translated as Otherwise I Forget (2023) by Terry Bradford. Outside, the Storm is the first translation to English of Dehors, la tempête (2020), a personal and intimate reflection on the pleasures of reading and the passion for books. In 2024 she published Alors c’est bien, a memoir about the death of her father and in 2026 she released Choses que je croyais perdues. Mélois was a member of the Oulipo experimental literary group between 2017 and 2026
TERRY BRADFORD
Terry Bradford teaches French, translation, and interpreting at the University of Leeds in the North of England. Working as a professional translator for over 25 years, he has focused on his passion for literary translation after turning fifty. Wakefield Press (US) and Liverpool University Press (GB) have published his translations of works by BorisVian, Léon-Paul Fargue, Clément Pansaers, & Clémentine Mélois. He is a regular contributor of short translations, commentaries, and creative pseudo-translations to US literary journal Typo: The International Journal of Prototypes.

NASIM VAHABI
Nasim Vahabi is a prominent bilingual writer who has published several acclaimed books in French and Farsi. She is the author of Yadam Miayad (2013), Khâterat e yek dorooghgoo (2018), Belit e bargasht (2019), and collaborated in the anthology Amours persanes (2020). Her works have received some of the most prestigious independent literary awards in Iran while, at the same time, being subject to a publication ban. Je ne suis pas un roman received widespread critical acclaim and was awarded the prestigious Sciences Po Literary Prize in 2024. She lives in France and holds a PhD in Comparative literature.
PARISA SARANJ
Parisa Saranj is a writer and translator. Her writings on contemporary Iranian politics and Persian (Farsi) translations have been published in several publications, including Ms. Magazine, Defunct Magazine, True, Los Angeles Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Faultline, Asymptote, and Two Lines. She has translated two books, Empty and Me (2023) by Azam Mahdavi, and Women, Life, Freedom: Our Fight for Human Rights and Equality in Iran (2023) by Nasrin Sotoudeh. She has also translated two documentaries on women’s rights in Iran: Nasrin (2020) and Sansur (2023).
